Apply for NEXUS Card is not affiliated with the Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) or the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
There are two fees if you use our service to join the program.
We charge $154.99 (per person) if you use our service to apply for NEXUS.
The government charges $50 for the background checks it carries out on your application.
If you're applying for a child, you don't have to pay for background checks. You must pay the service fee for error-checking and processing their form.

The government fee ($50.00) is paid using the card that you listed on your application form.
The total fee if you use our service is $204.99.
Firstly, when you send in your form we check it an chase you for missing info. Next, we enter the data onto the correct govt database. Then, we send you an email explaining the next steps.
Your application goes through these stages:
Application Submitted: We have submitted your application to the government for background and security checks and you have been sent your Traveler Profile. This process takes 48 hours from the moment you submit your application and pay the service fee (providing there is no missing or incorrect information.
Pending Review: Your application will be pending review for up to 6 months and in a few rare instances, longer. At this stage the government are checking your background with a host of government agencies like immigration and law enforcement.
After around 6 months, you will receive an email from CBP informing you that your status has changed.
Conditional Approval: At this stage, you have 30 days to schedule an interview at one of the enrollment centers in Canada or the USA. You have 365 days to attend the interview. If you fail to schedule or attend your application will be denied and you will have to reapply and pay all of the fees again.
Denied: If your not a low-risk traveler, you will be denied from the program. You will not be invited for interview. However, you will receive a letter detailing the reasons for your denial. You can appeal by calling an enrollment center and setting up a meeting with a manager to discuss your case.
Approved: Some renewal applicants are approved without an interview. These cases are rare. Most will be approved once they have attended an interview.
Activate Card: When you have your physical membership card you must login to your Traveler Profile and activate your card.
Applying is easy with our 5-star service.
You must be a US or Canadian citizen or a legal permanent resident with a machine readable PR card.
All you have to do is follow these steps:
Fill out our application form. You need one per applicant. We have simplified the form to make it fast and easy for you.
Pay the service fee (USD 154.99). This service is for the error checks and application processing.
We check your NEXUS form. If there's any missing information we email you within 48 hours. Incorrect or incomplete forms may be denied from the program.
When your personal data is in order, we pay the background and security check fee ($50 adults only) using the card listed on your application.
As a part of our service all of our customers receive a free application submission after we have thoroughly prepared and checked your application form.
We send you an email explaining how to take control of your application. This allows you to monitor your application status.
You attend an interview. It now takes up to 6-8 months to reach the interview stage. Please be patient, this is out of our control.
You get your membership card within 10-14 days after a successful interview.
You don’t have to keep verifying your profile when you apply with us. If you apply directly with the government, you won’t get answers to your questions and in some cases, applicants haven’t known that their application status had changed, and then they were too late to schedule their compulsory interview.
We make sure that your application form is checked thoroughly. If there is any missing info or errors, we notify you within 24 hours.
Then, when your application is processed, we submit it to Customs & Border Protection error-free.
We send you an email which tells you how to proceed from the application stage to securing your membership approval.

If you want a refund, all you have to do is let us know by email. You have 90 days to make a claim.
This is the fastest way to receive a refund. We will refund you in full within 24 hours of receiving your request.
If you make a dispute or chargeback, it will take 14 days to process – sometimes more. So give us 24 hours to refund you. Please check out our full refund policy here.
Note that once your application is submitted to the government, your fee for background and security checks ($50) is non-refundable.
When we get your refund request, we send you an email to notify you that we have received your cancelation. We also email you when your refund is processed. We approve your refund within 24 hours. Then, your bank must credit it to your credit card or original method of payment The time scale of this varies between banks.
