WHAT IS

NEXUS lets low-risk travelers expedite their border crossing. Members can use the special NEXUS kiosks. They are located at Canadian airports, land borders, and seaports between the US and Canada. This is not a program you can join instantly! Every applicant must fill out a lengthy application form. You even have to fill one out for your child.

When Customs and Border Protection receive your application they send it to a variety of government agencies. This means that law enforcement, immigration and other agencies will check their database for any violations. If you have not committed any felonies that violate the program you will be classed as a ‘low-risk traveler’.

Next, you must attend a face-to-face interview. It lasts for 30 minutes. The interview is conducted by agents from Canada and the U.S. Membership lasts 5 years.

You can join NEXUS if you are a Canadian or U.S. citizens or a permanent residents from either country. You must have a clean criminal and immigration record. If you have a pardon for any misdemeanours, you can still apply for NEXUS.

If you want to join, fill out an application form. Then undergo background and security checks. When you’re Conditionally Approved you have to attend a compulsory interview at an enrollment center on the US-Canada border or at a Canadian airport.

The NEXUS lanes and kiosks can be used by anyone who has an up-to-date NEXUS card. If you are traveling by car, everyone in the vehicle must have their own NEXUS pass including infants.

This stringent checking means that Canada & the United States can keep  borders safe!

NEXUS Card And Global Entry

If you have a NEXUS Card, you can use the Global Entry kiosks at U.S. airports. This means, there’s no waiting in long lines at customs & immigration checks.

Head over to the Global line. Make sure that you have your passport or permanent resident card with you.

Put the ID page of your passport or your PR card face down onto the glass. When instructed to do so, place your fingertips on the scanner.

Answer the questions on the touch screen customs declaration. Wait for your transaction receipt and proceed to the baggage reclaim area and the exit.

NEXUS Card And TSA Precheck

If you’re a US citizen or permanent resident, you can start using the TSA Prescreen lines once you’re approved for the NEXUS program. 

You must fill out your PASSID in the ‘Known Traveler Number’ section when you book a flight ticket.

You must also book your flight using the exact same name that you used when you signed up for the NEXUS program.

At the airport, check-in for your flight and go straight to the priority security lane.  There’s no waiting and you won’t have to take off your coat or jacket or get out your laptop and clear bag with all of your liquid items in.

We do this within 48 hours, & we send you an email detailing your traveler profile the next steps.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

As a part of our service, all of our customers receive a free application submission after we have thoroughly prepared and checked their application form.

TAKE CONTROL

You take control of your traveler profile and then wait until you receive a status change email from cbp.gov. The current wait time is 6-8 months.

SCHEDULE INTERVIEW

When your application moves from Pending Review to Conditionally Approved you must schedule your mandatory interview at the enrollment center of your choice. You have 365 days from your conditional approval to attend the interview.

OUR REFUND POLICY

If you want a refund, all you have to do is let us know by email. You have 90 days to make a claim.

This is the fastest way to receive a refund. We will refund you in full within 24 hours of receiving your request.

If you make a dispute or chargeback, it will take 14 days to process – sometimes more. So give us 24 hours to refund you. Please check out our full refund policy here.

Note that once your application is submitted to the government, your fee for background and security checks ($50) is non-refundable.

When we get your refund request, we send you an email to notify you that we have received your cancelation. We also email you when your refund is processed. We approve your refund within 24 hours. Then, your bank must credit it to your credit card or original method of payment The time scale of this varies between banks.
